To Jon Olson, Professor Emeritus of the University of Pennsylvania, for the Open Letter project which the UPenn Writing Center peer tutors engaged in and presented about at the NCPTW Conference in Florida, 2011. The Open Letter Project is the inspiration for the theme of this conference.  We are grateful for all of Professor Olson’s many contributions to the field of Writing Center work, especially peer tutoring.
